What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that helps bring balance to your mind, body, and spirit. It promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress, and supports emotional and physical healing. Each session is unique — your body receives exactly what it needs in that moment.


How does a session work?

We’ll begin with a short conversation to set your intention and answer any questions. Once we begin, you’ll simply relax, breathe, and allow your energy to reset. Some clients describe warmth, tingling, or a wave of calm; others simply feel peaceful stillness. The energy continues to integrate even after your session ends.


Do you offer both in-person and virtual Reiki sessions?

Yes. You can choose what feels right for you:

  • In-Person Sessions – Held in a calming, private space in Apollo Beach. You’ll lie comfortably and simply relax as the energy flows through you.
  • Virtual Sessions – Done entirely by phone. Before we begin, you’ll receive a calming soundtrack to play as you settle in. We’ll start together with a short guided meditation, and then I’ll continue the energy work remotely. Afterward, I’ll follow up within a day or two so you can share your experience.

Both experiences are equally powerful — Reiki energy is not bound by distance.

How should I prepare for my session?

Come as you are. You may want to wear something comfortable and drink a little water beforehand. Give yourself a few quiet moments before we begin — it helps you relax and receive more fully.

For virtual sessions, choose a peaceful space where you won’t be disturbed, silence notifications, and have your calming music ready.


What will I feel during the session?

Every experience is different. Some people feel warmth, tingling, or pulsing energy. Others sense deep calm, see colors, or feel emotional release. And some feel nothing at all — that’s completely normal. The energy is still working at a deeper level whether you feel it physically or not.


What can I expect afterward?

You may feel lighter, more grounded, or deeply relaxed. Some clients notice emotional clarity, better sleep, or a sense of peace in the days that follow. Drink plenty of water, rest if possible, and allow your body and energy to integrate. Journaling or spending quiet time in nature can help anchor your experience.


What kinds of results do clients experience?

Reiki supports your body’s natural ability to heal and rebalance. Many clients share that they feel calmer, sleep better, release tension, or experience renewed focus and peace. While results are different for everyone, the overall effect is one of harmony — emotionally, physically, and spiritually.


Can Reiki support my medical or emotional healing?

Yes. Reiki is a complementary practice that can safely support medical treatments, therapy, or other wellness practices. It doesn’t replace medical care — instead, it helps your body and mind find balance and resilience, creating a stronger foundation for healing.


How often should I schedule Reiki sessions?

It depends on your goals. Many clients schedule monthly sessions to maintain balance, while others come weekly or bi-weekly for deeper healing. I’m happy to help you decide what rhythm best supports your well-being.


What if emotions come up during or after?

That’s completely natural. Reiki can help release stored energy and emotions. If feelings surface, allow them to move through you — they’re simply energy in motion. You can always reach out afterward if you’d like to talk through what came up.


How long is a session?

Each session lasts about 60 minutes, including time to settle in at the start and reflect at the end.
